  • 8 eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vidalia Onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped Red Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Half n Half
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Crushed Garlic
  • Black Pepper
  • 8 frozen or fresh Beef Tamales (susbstitute any flavor)
  • butter

How to Make Tamale Egg Casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Tamale Egg Casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350. Then line tamales (you may need to split a few tamales to cover pan) on a buttered 6x6 pan. With a spatula press down tamales to create a base layer so egg mixture sits on top.
  • Step 2
  • In a bowl wisk eggs, onion, red pepper, half n half, parmesan cheese, black pepper, and garlic until well incorporated.
  • Step 3
  • Pour egg mixture on top of tamale base. Place in oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until egg mixture is firm.
