  • 4 large chicken thighs
  • 1 medium whole unpeeled onion
  • 2 whole carrots
  • 2 celery stalks cut in half
  • 2 packages 32 oz. premade chick broth
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 salt & pepper to taste
  • 3 cup all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting

How to Make Tami's Slow cooked Chicken & Pastry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Tami's Slow cooked Chicken & Pastry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Place thighs into dutch oven pot season with salt & pepper. Add vegtables, stock & soup, season with salt & pepper.
  • Step 2
  • Bring to a boil then turn down heat medium, cook about 1 hour.
  • Step 3
  • Remove chicken, set aside. Place the 3 cups of flour in a bowl start with about 1/2 cup of broth from the pot and incorporate to make a dough. If more broth is needed incorporate. Spread flour on a flat surface, take half the dough and roll out dough thin & use a pizza cutter to make wide pastry, incorporate a few strips at a time.
  • Step 4
  • When all the dough is in the pot keep stirring to prevent sticking. Cook about 30 minutes add chicken( pull apart), turn off heat let sit about 15 minutes. Enjoy
