  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 2 tbsp chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine or sherry wine
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 4 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 each red & yellow pepper, sliced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Chinese 5 spice

How to Make Tami's Szechuan Shrimp

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 2 steps you must follow to make Tami's Szechuan Shrimp in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a bowl add all ingredients except the shrimp, green onions Chinese 5 spice, set sauce a side.
  • Step 2
  • Preheat wok or large saute pan, add sesame oil, heat oil for a moment then add peppers & mushrooms, stir constantly add shrimp, chinese 5 spice and green onions stir constantly about 5-10 minutes til shrimp are cooked add sauce, toss the shrimp to coat evenly. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy :)
