Ingredients: Tater Tot Casserole

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Tater Tots
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 can Milk
  • 2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Salt
  • 1 Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 Garlic Salt

How to Make Tater Tot Casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 12 steps you must follow to make Tater Tot Casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Pre heat oven to 375┬░
  • Step 2
  • Brown the beef in a large skillet, season with salt and pepper. You may add garlic salt as well
  • Step 3
  • Roughly chop onion, then sautee
  • Step 4
  • Mix the cream of mushroom soup, 1-1/2 cups of cheese. Add 1 can of milk (use the can from the cream of mushroom soup)
  • Step 5
  • Add beef, and onions to the cream of mushroom soup mixture. Mix until well combined
  • Step 6
  • Add smoked paprika, stir 10 times
  • Step 7
  • Add frozen tater tots to the mixture
  • Step 8
  • Pour everything into a 11x13 baking dish
  • Step 9
  • Top the casserole with the remaining cheese
  • Step 10
  • Cover casserole with tin foil and cook for 45 minutes
  • Step 11
  • After cooking for 45 minutes remove tin foil and bake another 45-60 minutes. (This cook time is high but remember the cooking temperature is pretty low for a tater tot casserole)
  • Step 12
  • After cooking remove from oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then enjoy :)
