  • 250 gr tempeh, sliced thinly
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce *
  • 1 tsp sweet soy sauce *
  • 1 tbsp mirin *
  • 1 tbsp sugar *
  • 1 tbsp water *
  • 1 pinch salt *

How to Make Tempeh Teriyaki

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Tempeh Teriyaki in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Fry the tempeh until half-cooked in a pan, using medium heat.
  • Step 2
  • Discard the oil but not the tempeh. Mix all * ingredients. Pour * into the tempeh. Using low heat, cook until the fluid thickens. Flip the tempeh pieces occasionally.
  • Step 3
  • When the fluid is reduced and the tempeh becomes a bit brown and black, it's done. Enjoy as snack or eat it with steamed rice.
