  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp Sake
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 Coarsely ground pepper (or normal powdered pepper)
  • 4 tbsp Katakuriko
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 10 Green shiso leaves

How to Make Tender & Juicy! Sauteed Chicken Breast with Salt

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Tender & Juicy! Sauteed Chicken Breast with Salt in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Slice the chicken breast diagonally into 1-cm thickness. Cut each in half lengthways ( for thin oblongs).
  • Step 2
  • Add Step 1 into a bowl with sake, sugar, salt, mayonnaise and pepper. Mix well and let it sit for a while.
  • Step 3
  • Add the katakuriko to Step 2 and stir well.
  • Step 4
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and arrange the Step 3 chicken breast. Cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
  • Step 5
  • After the chicken starts to brown, remove the lid. Turn over the chicken pieces and cover with the lid. Continue to cook over a low heat for 1 minute.
  • Step 6
  • Turn the heat off and leave to stand for 1 minute, still covered with the lid.
  • Step 7
  • Remove the lid and add the julienned shiso leaves and transfer to a serving dish.
