  • 1 box Zatarans New Orleans style white and wild rice
  • 1 can Original Rotel tomatoes
  • 1 lb Ground hamburger meat
  • 2 1/4 cup Shredded cheese

    Step 1
  • Boil 3/4 large bell peppers that have had their tops sliced off and seeds taken out
  • Step 2
  • Brown 1lb of hamburger meat
  • Step 3
  • Prepare 1 box of zatarns New Orleans style white and wild rice according to directions
  • Step 4
  • Add 1 can of original Rotel tomatoes (drained)
  • Step 5
  • Remove bell peppers from boiling water, drain, and place in a baking dish to cool partially
  • Step 6
  • Add aprox. 2 cups of shredded cheese to browned hamburger/Rotel mix (please remember to drain hamburger before adding to cheese
  • Step 7
  • Stuff peppers about 3/4 of the way full of hamburger/Rotel/cheese mixture
  • Step 8
  • Heap wild rice you previously made on top and sprinkle with another pinch of shredded cheese
  • Step 9
  • Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until cheese is nicely melted
