  • I. Cabbage:
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • as needed salt
  • as needed vegetable oil
  • II. Eggplant, onions, and peppers
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped sweet peppers
  • 2 small aubergines, eggplant
  • as needed salt
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • III. Tomatoes and ground sirloin
  • 28 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 1 pound ground sirloin
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • as needed salt
  • IV. Cheese and sour cream:
  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 3/4 pound mild cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make The remix

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 13 steps you must follow to make The remix in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Shred the cabbage and fry in oil salt as it fries. Cover occasionally stirring often. I did mine in batches to get an even cooking of the cabbage.
  • Step 2
  • Set aside for later
  • Step 3
  • Peel and cube the eggplants/aubergines. Put into the hot pan add onions and peppers. Stir till heated now add some oil. Add salt and garlic, cover stirring occasionally. Till done, especially the eggplant
  • Step 4
  • Set aside
  • Step 5
  • Cook the sirloin till browned. Drain very good. Set aside
  • Step 6
  • In a pan add tomatoes, honey, salt, garlic, and tomato paste. Cook till heated thru. Stirring occasionally. Add sirloin into the tomatoes
  • Step 7
  • When tomatoes and sirloin are mixed well in an oven safe dish add them to it.
  • Step 8
  • Add a thin layer of cheese
  • Step 9
  • Then the cabbage
  • Step 10
  • Sour cream
  • Step 11
  • Eggplant mixture
  • Step 12
  • Cover with cheese and put into oven and turn on to 400° Fahrenheit let it heat with the oven
  • Step 13
  • Bake 30 minutes. Let sit 10 and serve I hope you enjoy!
