  • 1 tbsp pappys "choice" seasoning
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp tomato bouillon, ( with chicken)
  • 1 tbsp beef bouillon cube
  • 1 1/2 lb pinto beans
  • 2 tbsp "grill mates" smokehouse maple seasoning.
  • 1 cup soy protein crumbles

How to Make Thomas' slow cooked beans

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Thomas' slow cooked beans in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Separate bad beans from good and rinse.
  • Step 2
  • Put beans into croc-pot and fill with water until water is about 1-1 1/2" above beans.
  • Step 3
  • Set croc-pot to low for overnight cooking. You can also do this for all day cooking. Approx. 8-10 hours. Depends on personal preference.
  • Step 4
  • When beans are almost soft enough for your taste, ad all seasonings and thoroughly stir.
  • Step 5
  • Let cook for about another 45-60 minutes so seasonings can be completely meshed with beans.
