  • 8 slices bread
  • 1 Tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 c. Kraft shredder cheddar & monterey jack cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 slices Oscar Mayer bacon, cooked, crumbled

How to Make Toad in the Hole Bake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Toad in the Hole Bake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 425° F. Cut a hole in the center of 4 of the bread slices using 1 1/2 inch cookie cutter or rim of a glass. Spread butter over one side of remaining bread slices. Place, butter side down, in a 13×9 inch baking dish
  • Step 2
  • Top with half of the cheese, then bread slices with the holes in the center. Break 1 egg into each hole. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bacon.
  • Step 3
  • Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and eggs are set.
