  • 2 can (15 oz.) chickpeas (4 cups) rinsed and drained
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 spices of your choice
  • 1 salt (to taste)

How to Make Toasted Chickpeas

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Toasted Chickpeas in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Step 2
  • In a medium bowl combine chickpeas with olive oil and all your favorite spices. I used paprika, garlic powder, Cumin, and salt.
  • Step 3
  • Mix well so as to coat chickpeas.
  • Step 4
  • Evenly spread them out on a foil lined cookie sheet,
  • Step 5
  • Toast for 20 minutes first, then shake cookie sheet gently to redistribute the little guys. Toast for another 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven. Put in a glass or metal bowl.
  • Step 6
  • Taste test...if you think that you need more salt or any other spices, now is a good time to add them and stir well. Yumm!
