Ingredients: Tofu Masala

  • 100 grams Tofus, diced in 1 inch cube
  • 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 small onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 small tomato, chopped
  • 4 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 piece green chillies, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ground corriander seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • corriander, to garnish

How to Make Tofu Masala

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Tofu Masala in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oil in a deep pan.
  • Step 2
  • Add cumin seeds, garlic, onions and green chillies. Cook until onion turns brownish.
  • Step 3
  • Add tomatoes and stir on medium flame for 2 minutes until tomatoes are cooked.
  • Step 4
  • Add all the spices and salt and mix well.
  • Step 5
  • Now add water and mix.
  • Step 6
  • Add tofus and stir well.. simmer for 5 mins on low flame until gravy is little thick.
  • Step 7
  • Garnish with corriander leaves and serve.
