  • 100 grams ◎Tofu (silken or processed tofu)

  • 2 tbsp ◎Katakuriko
  • 1 tsp ◎Light brown sugar or brown cane sugar
  • 1 Kinako
  • 1 Light brown sugar or brown cane sugar (or any other sugar)

How to Make Tofu Mochi with Rice Bran

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Tofu Mochi with Rice Bran in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Put the ◎ ingredients into a heatproof dish. Mix well until there are no tofu lumps. Lightly wrap with cling film and microwave for 1 minute 15 seconds at 500-600 W.
  • Step 2
  • Knead the mixture well using a spatula. Microwave for another 30-40 seconds.
  • Step 3
  • Mix it well again, and then divide into bite-sized pieces. Coat the mochi balls in a mixture of kinako and brown sugar, and it's done.
  • Step 4
  • I coated these ones with green barley and sugar. It's even healthier with matcha, or something with vitamin C.
