  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Diced onion
  • 1/2 cup Red wine
  • 5 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 lb Arborio rice
  • 2 medium Tomatoes, diced
  • 5 large Basil leafs
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Tomato & Basil Risotto in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring the broth to boil.
  • Step 2
  • Saut? the onions in olive oil.
  • Step 3
  • Add the rice and cook it for about 3 minutes
  • Step 4
  • Add the wine and mix, start adding 1 ladle of the broth to the rice.
  • Step 5
  • Once the rice absorbs all the broth, add another ladle. Keep doing this for 10 minutes.
  • Step 6
  • Add the tomatoes to the rice and keep adding the broth (stock) ladle by ladle for another 5 minutes.
  • Step 7
  • Add the basil, and keep adding the broth for more 5 minutes or until the rice is ready
  • Step 8
  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese and serve!
