  • Gravy
  • 10 oz petite stewed tomatoes
  • 5 thick slices bacon
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 12 oz vegatable stock or water

How to Make Tomato Gravy

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 9 steps you must follow to make Tomato Gravy in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • over medium high heat
  • Step 2
  • chop bacon into small peices and fry till crispy
  • Step 3
  • slowly add flour one tablspoon at a time.. stirring constantly
  • Step 4
  • *do not let flour brown
  • Step 5
  • when flour is absorbed add tomatoes and continue stirring
  • Step 6
  • as it thickens add broth/water slowly(about 3 ounces at a time) still a stirring constantly
  • Step 7
  • turn down and simmer stirring occasionally...untill it reaches the consistency of gravy
  • Step 8
  • that's it your done....
  • Step 9
  • serve over rice...potatoes or use as a sauce for meat
