Ingredients: Tomatopeno & Cheese Grilled Sandwich

  • 1 1 big jalapeño sliced & cut in half (keep seeds if desired)
  • 4 Baby tomatoes sliced about a cm thick
  • 1 slice Pepper jack cheese
  • 2 tbsp Three blend shredded cheese
  • 1 oz Olive oil to coat pan & brush on bread
  • 2 slice Rye & pumpernickel swirl bread
  • 1 tbsp Dry minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Greek seasoning
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 dash Red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro chopped fresh

How to Make Tomatopeno & Cheese Grilled Sandwich

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Tomatopeno & Cheese Grilled Sandwich in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Olive oil in pan & add jalapeños. Add salt, Greek seasoning, oregano.
  • Step 2
  • While those are cooking slice tomatoes & add them in after they are all sliced.
  • Step 3
  • Add garlic & more oil if needed. Let cool on skillet for about 5 minutes. ( once everything's cooked down)
  • Step 4
  • Brush oil on both slices of bread & set in the same pan you cooked on. Then add tomato jalapeño mix on top of one slice.
  • Step 5
  • Once toasted, add pepper jack cheese, red flakes, & shredded chews on top of tomatopeno mix.
  • Step 6
  • Cover with top until cheese melts & flip.
  • Step 7
  • Once it's toasted how you like take it out cut in half & enjoy.
