  • 2 Tbs olive oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 Tbs garlic (minced)
  • 3 medium carrots (coined)
  • 3 stalks celery (diced)
  • 2 (14 1/2 oz) cans chicken broth
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can water
  • 1 pkg refrigerated tortellinis
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 Tbs dried Parsley (more if fresh)
  • 1 Tbs Parmesan cheese

How to Make Tortellini Soup

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Tortellini Soup in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Sauté onions 3 mins on medium heat in soup pot. Add chopped garlic, carrots and celery for additional 5 mins.
  • Step 2
  • Add broth and water. Bring to boil.
  • Step 3
  • Add fresh tortellini. Simmer 7 mins.
  • Step 4
  • Add parsley and nutmeg (freshly grated us best)! Stir and serve. Add grated Parmesan to taste. (Great with biscuits).
