Ingredients: Tuna Casserole

  • 1 26oz can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 12oz can drained tuna
  • 1 lb of egg noodles
  • 15 oz can drained peas
  • 1/2 cup parmesan, more or less
  • 2 tbsp minced onion, I used dry
  • 1 Salt and pepper and garlic powder to taste
  • 1 Bread crumbs

How to Make Tuna Casserole

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Tuna Casserole in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Step 2
  • In a large bowl mix soup, sour cream, half the parm, the minced onions, the drained tuna, the drained peas, the salt and pepper and the garlic powder.
  • Step 3
  • Bring salted water to a boil and add noodles. Cook til slightly limp, about 3 minutes.
  • Step 4
  • Reserve a 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain noodles. Add to soup mixture and stir til combined. Pour into greased casserole dish, 9x13.
  • Step 5
  • In a small bowl mix the bread crumbs, I used panko, the rest of the parm and about a good tablespoon of oil, I used olive oil but u can use whatever u have on hand. Sprinkle over casserole.
  • Step 6
  • Bake til hot and bubbly and browned on top, about 30 minutes.
