Ingredients: Tuna Stir-fry

  • 4 oz tuna
  • 1/3 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
  • 1/4 cup broccoli
  • 2 tbsp green onion
  • 2 tbsp tomato
  • 1 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1/2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp salt

How to Make Tuna Stir-fry

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Tuna Stir-fry in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Bring pot of water to a rolling boil. Add rice, and let boil for 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 2
  • Wash all veggies and chop. Combine with tuna in frying pan. Add oil, and bring to medium heat. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Step 3
  • When veggies are soft and tuna is at 150°F, season with black pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and garlic. Reduce heat and cover.
  • Step 4
  • When rice has reached desired texture, drain water. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Add cheese and stir til melted.
  • Step 5
  • Plate veggies and tuna on top of rice.
