  • 2 box refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1/3 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 14 oz chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cup cooked shredded turkey
  • 2 cup frozen mixed vegetables

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Turkey Pot Pie in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
  • Sprinkle flour on a countertop and roll out the dough an extra inch. Using a biscuit round, cut out dough to cover the tops of your ramekins.
  • Step 3
  • In a 2 quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and cook 2 mins, stirring often, until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until blended. Stir in broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.
  • Step 4
  • Stir in turkey and mixed vegetables. Remove from heat. Spoon into ramekins. cover with crust and crimp over the edge. Cut slits in several places. Brush tops with egg wash.
  • Step 5
  • Place ramekins on a baking sheet. Bake for 35 mins. Remove and serve.
