  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise

  • 1/2 tbsp to 2 tbsp ◆Oyster sauce
  • 1 pack ◆Bonito flakes
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

How to Make Turnip Leaf Furikake

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Turnip Leaf Furikake in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Wash the turnip leaves well in a big bowl of water. You'll be surprised at how many aphids and insect droppings are in the leaves!
  • Step 2
  • Cut the stems into small pieces, and mince the leaves.
  • Step 3
  • In a heated frying pan, melt the mayonnaise, add the turnip leaves and stems and stir-fry. Continue until the moisture boils off.

  • Step 5
  • Eat it over a bowl of piping-hot rice. It's good mixed into onigiri, too.
