  • 1 quart Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 10 potatoes
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tbsp onion powder
  • 3 tbsp seasoned salt
  • 3 tbsp black pepper
  • 6 green onion
  • 8 Bacon slices
  • 1 cup graded mild cheddar cheese

    Step 1
  • preheat oven to 350°F
  • Step 2
  • bake potatoes in oven for 60 minutes. I generally wash/scrub my potatoes skins with warm water then dust with garlic salt season salt before cooking.
  • Step 3
  • mix heavy whipping cream, beef broth, butter, milk and seasonings to large pot. cover and heat on medium-low. stir frequently.
  • Step 4
  • once soup is heated and potatoes are done. chop potatoes into cubes and throw into pot.
  • Step 5
  • continue to cook until potatoes break down and starch in potatoes begins to thicken the soup. Remove from heat
  • Step 6
  • slice green onions into small slices.
  • Step 7
  • cook bacon and break apart into small pieces.
  • Step 8
  • top with graded mild cheddar cheese, bacon bits and sliced green onions
