  • Soup
  • 500 grams tomato passata
  • 400 grams frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 small shallot, diced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 1 salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper
  • Dumplings
  • 1 pinch baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

How to Make Vegetarian Dumpling Stew

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Vegetarian Dumpling Stew in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Heat some oil in a pot over medium high heat. Add the shallot. Fry for a minute then add garlic. After about 30 sec add peas
  • Step 2
  • Next, add tomato passata and some water (between 1 and 2 cups) with a crumbled stock cube. Bring to a boil
  • Step 3
  • Season with salt, pepper, sugar and cayenne.
  • Step 4
  • Combine all the dumpling ingredients. Add one teaspoon worth of mixture in the boiling soup. Cover for 1 minute
  • Step 5
  • When dumplings are cooked, serve. Enjoy :)
