  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 medium Carrot grated
  • Toppings
  • 1 Kaiser rolls
  • 1 Lettuce leaves
  • 1 Tomato slices
  • 1 Pickles
  • 1 Mustard
  • 1 Ketchup

How to Make Vegetarian Lentil Burgers

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 7 steps you must follow to make Vegetarian Lentil Burgers in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cook lentils in 2 1/2 cups water until soft and almost all water is absorbed.
  • Step 2
  • In a pan sauté carrots and onion until soft
  • Step 3
  • In a large bowl place cooked lentils, carrot, onion, oats, bread crumbs and soy sauce and mix well.
  • Step 4
  • Form patties while mixture is warm. (Be careful to heat test mixture before forming patties to avoid burns), keep hands moist with water to avoid sticking. Yields 8-10 patties.
  • Step 5
  • You can freeze patties in single sandwich bags for easy meals.
  • Step 6
  • Lightly pan grill the patty on each side
  • Step 7
