Ingredients: Veggie and meat lasagna

  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 lb ground meat
  • 1 oven ready lasagna
  • 1/2 package spinach
  • 1 can favorite pasta sauce
  • 2 tbsp pesto
  • 1 tbsp oil, i used olive oil
  • 1 package shredded yellow cheese
  • 1 package shredded white cheese
  • 1/3 cup broth
  • Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder or any other seasoning u like

How to Make Veggie and meat lasagna

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 5 steps you must follow to make Veggie and meat lasagna in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Saute onion and bell peppers in oil. Then add ground meat and garlic. Cook until done, drain if necessary
  • Step 2
  • Add pesto to meat mixture. Turn heat off. Add shredded spinach to meat mixture. Then add 2/3 of sauce to meat mixture with 1/3 cup of water or broth
  • Step 3
  • Add favorite seasoning to mixture.
  • Step 4
  • Add a layer of noodle, then half meat mixture, then 1/3 of cheese in the next layer. Repeat until top layer is cheese
  • Step 5
  • Bake 375°F for 45 mins to a hour
