  • 400 ml Milk
  • 5 grams Gelatin powder
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Honey or sugar
  • Toppings:
  • 1 Kinako & brown sugar syrup

How to Make Very Japanese-style Milk Pudding

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Very Japanese-style Milk Pudding in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Dissolve the gelatin powder in 2 tablespoons of warm water.
  • Step 2
  • Add honey or sugar into the milk, and simmer over low heat. Please do not bring to a boil!
  • Step 3
  • Add the dissolved gelatin from Step 1 to the pot, mix well, then transfer to a container. Let it cool, and refrigerate for 2 ~ 3 hours.
  • Step 4
  • Scoop with a large spoon. Sprinkle kinako roasted soy flour and drizzle brown sugar syrup to your liking.
