Ingredients: Vickys Scottish Whisky Buttered Bacon

  • 450 grams bacon (8 - 12 thinly sliced rashers)
  • 3 tbsp sunflower spread / butter
  • 2 tbsp Scottish whisky (all spirits are gluten-free, see link below)
  • 2 tsp soft brown sugar

How to Make Vickys Scottish Whisky Buttered Bacon

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Vickys Scottish Whisky Buttered Bacon in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt the butter in a large frying pan. Add the slices of bacon and fry over a medium - high heat for 2 or 3 minutes until nicely browned underneath. You may need to do this in 2 batches
  • Step 2
  • Turn the bacon and drizzle the whisky and brown sugar over. Cook on a high heat for around 30 seconds. Season with pepper and remove the pan from the heat
  • Step 3
