  • - INGREDIENTS for 6 - 6cm Pudding Cups -
  • 250 g Milk
  • 50 g Walnuts
  • 3 g Gelatin Powder
  • 12 g Water
  • 125 g Cream
  • 50 g Sugar
  • - Kahlua Milk -
  • 15 g Kahlua
  • 50 g Milk

How to Make Walnut Blanc-manger

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 14 steps you must follow to make Walnut Blanc-manger in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Operation Time / 20 min Oven Temperature / 350F Baking Time / 5 min
  • Step 2
  • Roast the walnuts until lightly browned.
  • Step 3
  • Pour the cold water into the gelatin powder and stir until well mixed. Store in the fridge until ready to use.
  • Step 4
  • Add the milk and roasted walnuts to a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer over low heat for 5 min. (Don't forget to use a lid).
  • Step 5
  • Add the gelatin to the solution and mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Strain the solution. Let cool at room temperature or until it reaches 20C (just before solid).
  • Step 7
  • Add the sugar and cream to a large mixing bowl and whip until the cream is fluffy and stiff.
  • Step 8
  • Add the solution to the whipped cream gradually and mix well.
  • Step 9
  • Pour the mixture into the molds and place in your fridge until solid.
  • Step 10
  • Prepare hot water. Soak the molds in hot water for a few seconds to remove the blanc-mangers from the molds.
  • Step 11
  • - Kahlua Milk -
  • Step 12
  • Pour the milk and Kahlua into a small mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Step 13
  • Pour the Kahlua milk over the blanc-mangers.
  • Step 14
  • Decorate as you like.
