Ingredients: Wasabi Cream Sauce

  • 4 tbsp butter, salted or unsaltef
  • 1 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp wasabi paste
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • 2 tbsp tamari soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp hot sauce, such as Franks red hot

How to Make Wasabi Cream Sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 3 steps you must follow to make Wasabi Cream Sauce in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • In a medium saucepan melt butter, add cream, shallot, tamari sauce, lemon, rice vinegar, pepper and red hot. Bring mixture to a simmer, turn off heat and let sit 2 minutes
  • Step 2
  • Whisk in wasabi paste until smooth
  • Step 3
  • Serve sauce warm. Can be stored in the refrigerator up to 10 days. Reheat the amount you need gently on the stovetop or microwave just until.hot. This sauce is great with most Asian foods. Also wonderful with fish, pork and beef!
