  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cup cut up seeded watermelon
  • 2 cup raspberries, strawberries, and/or blueberries
  • 1 tbsp snipped fresh mint

How to Make Watermelon Berry Sorbet

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 4 steps you must follow to make Watermelon Berry Sorbet in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • For syrup: In a medium sauce pan, combine the water and sugar. Bring to boiling, stirring often. Boil gently, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Cool slightly.
  • Step 2
  • In a blender or food processor, combine watermelon and berries. (If using food processor, process only half the ingredients at a time). Cover and blend or process for 30 seconds. Add warm syrup; cover and blend or process until nearly smooth. Transfer to a 13x 9 x 2 inch freezer proof container. Cover and freeze about 1 1/2 hours or until nearly firm.
  • Step 3
  • Break up frozen mixture with a fork. Cover and freeze for at least 1 hour.
  • Step 4
  • If necessary, let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving. To serve, break up frozen mixture with a fork. Spoon into dessert dishes. If desired, top with additional berries and mint sprigs.
