  • Cut the sweet potatoes (about 100 g) into about 1 cm cubes and soak in water for about 10 minutes.
  • Step 8
  • Place the sweet potatoes on a plate and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes at 500W and let cool.
  • Step 9
  • Combine the cooled sweet potatoes with the sponge cake batter at Step 2. The rest is the same as Step 3 and it's done.
