Ingredients: White Wine Sauce

  • 1/2 Onion Diced
  • 1 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk/half n half/ or cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup Pink Moscato Wine
  • 1 salt to taste
  • 1 white pepper to taste

How to Make White Wine Sauce

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make White Wine Sauce in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Melt one tables spoon of butter in sauce pan over medium heat.
  • Step 2
  • Once butter is hot add onions and onions and saute until lightly browned.
  • Step 3
  • Remove garlic and onions an set aside.
  • Step 4
  • Add 2 remaining tablespoons of butter to sauce pan and melt.
  • Step 5
  • Once butter is hot add 2 tablespoons of flour stirring constantly until light brown.
  • Step 6
  • Slowly add in milk/half n half/cream, wine, and chicken broth. Constantly stirring.
  • Step 7
  • Bring to a simmer and add in onions and garlic.
  • Step 8
  • Once to a simmer reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes stirring occasionally. Enjoy!
