  • 8 large tomatoes, cut in 4 and seeded
  • 2 onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 400 grams beef strips
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt

How to Make Xekxuka

    Step 1
  • Warm up the oil in a large pan
  • Step 2
  • Sauté the onions over a low heat, when the onions are soft and browned raise the heat to high and put in the beef and peppers
  • Step 3
  • Mix up the ingredients cook for 2 minutes and add the tomatoes, lower the heat and cook for 30 min.
  • Step 4
  • Season with salt.Use a spoon to make 4 holes in the mixture. Crack each egg and place 1 in each hole.
  • Step 5
  • Cover the pan until the eggs are ready.
  • Step 6
  • Serve hot or serve cold with bread
