  • 1 Apple
  • 150 grams Plain yogurt
  • 1 Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 5 and 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 40 ml Vegetable oil
  • 100 grams Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

How to Make Yogurt Pommes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 8 steps you must follow to make Yogurt Pommes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • These are Tsugaru apples from a famous orchard. They are sweet and delicious eaten plain, but I used them to make my yogurt pommes.
  • Step 2
  • Cut apples into 5-mm thick slices and sprinkle with lemon juice.
  • Step 3
  • To prepare the pie pan, grease with butter, then coat with flour.
  • Step 4
  • In a bowl, combine the flour and baking powder, then sift.
  • Step 5
  • Combine the eggs, sugar, and vegetable oil in a bowl. Add the yogurt and mix well.
  • Step 6
  • Slowly add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix until smooth without any lumps.
  • Step 7
  • Pour half of the batter in the pie pan. Layer with apple slices, then pour in the rest of the batter.
  • Step 8
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 200℃.
