  • 200 ml Yuzu jam
  • 50 grams Sugar
  • 80 grams Butter or margarine
  • 2 Egg yolks
  • 2 Egg whites
  • 160 grams ★Plain flour
  • 2 tsp ★Baking powder

How to Make Yuzu Jam Cakes

If you have prepared the ingredients needed, now time to start cooking. There are 6 steps you must follow to make Yuzu Jam Cakes in your home by yourself.

    Step 1
  • Cream the butter, add the sugar in 2-3 batches and mix well.
  • Step 2
  • Add the egg yolks one at a time, and mix well.
  • Step 3
  • Mix in the yuzu jam.
  • Step 4
  • Whisk the egg whites in a different bowl and make a stiff meringue.
  • Step 5
  • Add the meringue from Step 4 and the sifted ingredients marked ★ alternately to the bowl from Step 3, half at a time. Cut in and mix.
  • Step 6
  • Pour the batter into cake moulds and bake for 20 minutes at an oven preheated to 180°C. Cool on a rack and you're done!
